Gonex 31.5" Extra Wide Camping Cot, 7075 Aluminum Dual-Tube Design, 350 lb Capacity, Breathable Mesh

Woke up with zero back pain for the first time in years of camping. Extra width matters more than I thought.

I'm 6'3" and 290 lbs and this cot doesn't creak or flex under me. The dual-tube aluminum frame feels bombproof.

The 31.5 inch width is a game changer if you're a side sleeper or a restless one like me. Setup takes me about two minutes now that I've got the hang of the tension bars. Breathable mesh is nice in summer, though I add a pad once temps drop. Carrying bag is adequate but nothing fancy.

Bought this mostly for when relatives visit and it's been fantastic. Way more comfortable than an air mattress, no midnight deflation, and it stores in a closet without fuss. My brother-in-law asked where to buy one before he left.

Once assembled it's honestly comfortable and very stable, and the width is great. But the first setup had me wrestling with the end bars for fifteen minutes and pinching my finger. Gets easier with practice, just be ready for a learning curve.

Not ultralight so I wouldn't backpack with it, but for car camping it's perfect. Frame is quality aluminum, fabric is taut without being squeaky, and getting off the ground changed my whole camping experience. Fits two small kids if they don't mind sharing.

Three weekends in deer camp, four guys rotating through cots, and mine is the one everyone fights over. Holds my 320 lb hunting partner without a single complaint from the frame. Easy to wipe clean after muddy boots.

Loved it at first, but after two months the mesh developed a noticeable sag in the middle and my hip touches the frame. Might be a defect, might be normal wear, either way disappointed.

Honestly figured a $47 cot would be junk, but the 7075 aluminum is the real deal. I'm 61 and can get in and out of it without groaning, which is more than I can say for my old air mattress. Bought a second one for the wife.
