Bought these for my 9-year-old's rec league and they've been great. The gridded EVA padding doesn't slide around like her old pair, and they're light enough that she forgets she's wearing them. The straps adjust small enough for skinny legs, which was our problem before. Great value at $10.
Sturdy plates and comfortable padding for weekend games. I sized up for my son so he can grow into them and they still stay put thanks to the sleeve design. Only knock is the fabric creases a bit behind the knee until broken in.

Protection is fine for practices and casual games. The velcro straps feel a little flimsy and I'm not sure they'll last a full season of hard use. For ten dollars though, they do the job.
I've played in adult leagues most of my life and usually spend way more on shin guards. These hold their own against pairs twice the price. The hard PP shell disperses impacts well — took a cleat directly to the shin last week and barely felt it. Padding breathes better than expected, and they rinse clean after muddy matches.
Ordered the adult size but the straps barely reach around my calves, and the guards shift every time I sprint. Padding quality is fine, but the fit just doesn't work for bigger legs.
