Tumi Alpha Continental Expandable 4-Wheeled Carry-On – USB-C Port, TSA Lock, Black

This is my fourth Tumi and the Continental remains the best of the bunch. The ballistic nylon has survived eight years of weekly flying on my old one, and the new USB-C port means I no longer dig for a wall outlet at the gate. Expanding to 11 inches has saved me on return trips more times than I can count.

Smooth wheels, solid handle, and the TSA lock works perfectly. I packed for a five-day trip with room to spare. Zero regrets.

Build quality is outstanding and the USB-C charging is genuinely useful on long travel days. My only complaint is that the expansion zipper adds a little bulk when not in use, but it's a fair trade for the extra space. The wheels glide effortlessly through O'Hare, which says a lot.

The suitcase itself seems well made, but mine arrived with a scuffed corner and the USB-C module felt loose. Customer service was responsive and offered a replacement, so I'm not giving up on it entirely. Bumping to three stars if the replacement arrives clean.

75+ flights last year and this bag has never let me down. Fits overhead on every airline I've flown, even regional jets when I don't expand it. The USB-C port charges my phone about twice per full power bank.

No complaints about construction or the smooth spinner wheels, but it's noticeably heavier empty than my old bag. If you're watching weight limits on international carriers, keep that in mind. Still a quality piece overall.

I've admired these in airport shops for years but couldn't justify the price. At this sale price it was a no-brainer. The interior organization is thoughtful, the handle telescopes smoothly with no wobble, and the black ballistic nylon looks sharp. My husband immediately ordered one too.
